    NextGen Home Decor was started by owners Shane and Tami Schechinger on a wing and prayer, after purchasing the thriving business from Shane's aunt Connie Carter in 2024. Connie operated the business as Mrs. C Home Decor for many years after purchasing it from her aunt Arlene Schwery in 2000. Adding the Hunter Douglas Window Treatments to our service portfolio was a natural fit with Shane's custom sign, countertop, and furniture piece business. We are a third generation family business and we look forward to serving Harlan and the surrounding area and bringing window treatments and home decor into your homes and businesses for another generation.
